Haiti Mission Trip Signup, Starting this Sabbath

Based on several discussions with those that have gone on Share Him trips and with Audrey Folkenberg of Share Him, it has been determined that the greater impact for the Kingdom, in the immediate future, would be to change our destination to Haiti for our upcoming mission trip.  As you may know Jason and Eli have both experienced Haiti and feel that there is an immediate need closer to home.  The difference in the total cost of Costa Rica verses Haiti is greater than 50 percent.  With Share Him we would all work independently at our assigned sites while in Haiti we will have the opportunity to work together on a larger scale.  It has also been determined that funds could be more easily attained for Haiti than for Costa Rica at the current time.  That said, the evangelism team of Advent Hope will be postponing the mission trip to Costa Rica to accommodate a trip to Haiti in July of 2010.

This Sabbath we start planing the Haiti Mission trip during/after potluck.  If you want to go to Haiti be at potluck:
